ProPond Biotope XS from JBL provides a specially formulated sinking diet for “native” fish species also known as biotope fish. JBL ProPond Biotope Fish Food is ideal for the likes of sunbleaks, gudgeons, orfes & ides, three-spined sticklebacks, European bitterlings, common minnow species and more.

Goldfish and koi have a different food spectrum and size range to that of biotope fish which are generally significantly smaller. Most biotope fish are bottom feeders, grazing on small animals, with some species also feeding on herbal elements. JBL Biotope caters for these special requirements through its small 1.5mm sinking pellet size and added crustaceans and plant components for a near-natural diet.

During feeding, goldfish and koi are also likely to feed on the Biotope Food. This isn’t an issue as they like and tolerate the ingredients of this food, too.
