The Ecopower 6000 Pond Filter from Hozelock provides a high performance pond filter with built in 12w UVC, at a price that wont break the bank. The Hozelock Ecopower 6000 Filter when sized, installed and maintained in accordance with Hozelock’s instructions will guarantee clear-water in ponds up to 6000 litres.

The Ecopower 6000 will cater for 254cm of fish, and has a recommended maximum flow rate of 3000lph. The Ecopower range of filters have the added advantage that they can be partially buried in the ground thanks to the high filter outlet. How It Works:

1. Water enters the filter via 25, 32 or 40mm flexi hose.
2. From here it passes into the UV chamber.
3. The UV chamber features a “turbulator” to increase efficiency.
4. The 12w UVC clumps the algae that causes green water together.
5. The water then passes through a venturi for additional aeration.
6. Water then flows through the bio-media, and rises up through the foams.
7. Waste in the bottom chamber can be drained away via the sludge drain.
8. The water exits back to the pond via 40mm flexible pipework.
